King Fisheries represented Pakistan at the Qingdao International Fisheries & Seafood Expo in China, one of the most significant seafood trade exhibitions in the world.
Participation in Qingdao enabled King Fisheries to connect with major Chinese importers, processors, and wholesale traders, gaining deeper insight into market preferences, grading requirements, and quality expectations. The event also provided exposure to global seafood trends and technological advancements in processing and logistics.
Through this engagement, King Fisheries reinforced its presence in the East Asian market and reaffirmed its position as a dependable supplier of pelagic and cephalopod species from Pakistan. The exhibition contributed to strengthening long-term trade relationships with Chinese partners.

King Fisheries was part of an official Pakistani business delegation to Malaysia aimed at enhancing bilateral trade relations between the two countries, particularly in the fisheries and seafood sector.

During the visit, company representatives engaged with Malaysian government officials, trade bodies, and industry stakeholders to explore collaboration in seafood sourcing, processing, and distribution. These discussions provided valuable insight into Malaysia’s import requirements, regulatory framework, and market dynamics.

The delegation strengthened King Fisheries’ understanding of Southeast Asian supply chains while positioning Pakistan as a reliable source of high-quality seafood. The initiative highlighted King Fisheries’ commitment to not only commercial growth but also supporting Pakistan’s broader trade diplomacy efforts.

King Fisheries, as part of the SBC Group, hosted an exclusive dinner followed by a Qawwali Mehfil in Karachi which was also attended by the Honorable Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi.
The gathering brought together senior government officials, industry leaders, financial experts, and members of the business community, including the Mayor of Karachi Mr. Murtaza Wahab, former FBR Chairman Mr. Shabbar Zaidi, former CPLC Chief Mr. Ahmed Chinoy, and other distinguished guests from public and private sectors.

The evening featured a soulful Qawwali performance by Mujadid Sabri, continuing the legacy of his father, the late Amjad Sabri, which was warmly appreciated by all attendees.

In his remarks, Mr. Ali Pesnani, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of SBC Group, emphasized the group’s commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s seafood exports and contributing to national economic growth. Chairman Zahair Pesnani, Co-Chairman Khalid Tanveer, CEO Zaheer Hassan Ali, and Vice Chairman Ali Pesnani presented a token of appreciation to Governor Faisal Karim Kundi.
